The Christmas season begins in earnest for the Glens & Kirriemuir Old Parish Church this Saturday.
The church is holding their annual Christmas Craft Fair from 10 am to 4 pm, when a huge variety of goods will be on sale.
There will be lots of unusual gifts and cards from local crafts-people and businesses to browse amongst and then take the weight off your feet with a cup of tea or coffee and a mince pie. If you arrive at lunchtime there will be home-made soup and rolls served from 12 noon until 2 pm. There are several new people this year as well as some familiar faces with Christmas goodies, handmade goods from fabric, wooden gifts, beaded jewellery, photography, etched glass, Aloe Vera products, all sorts of cards, calendars and much, much more.
