This year’s 40th Anniversary of Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF) begins on the first of August bringing more than 100 performances to venues in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Arbroath, Moray and Edinburgh.
On Friday, August 10, the festival will be delighting the people of Brechin with an uplifting performance from the National Youth Choir of Scotland Training Choir.
The talented young singers will be performing uplifting renditions of traditional songs.
The Training Choir provides opportunities for singers between the ages of 16-19 to develop their voices.
The traditional pattern of concerts for the training group includes Chapel Royal in Stirling Castle and participation with NYCoS at some of their own concerts.
