KIRK CHOCFEST: Forfar East & Old parishioners know that their minister the Rev. Barbara Ann Sweetin has a passion for chocolate, so it came as no surprise that the main spring fund-raiser for the Friends of East & Old was to be a chocolate extravaganza or Chocfest in the hall, Chapel Street this Saturday, from 10 am until noon (2 entry). There will be every conceivable chocolate-linked stall - wagon-wheel burgers, flake hotdogs, chocolate powder cones, tombola, quiz and wordsearch, traybakes, and Barbara Ann (pictured) will be dipping strawberries and marshmallows in the chocolate fountain.
