Childcare picnic

ANGUS childcare providers gathered at Seaview Primary School, Victoria Street, Monifieth, on Monday, for their annual play day.

Registered childminders, nurseries, out of school clubs, parents and more than 300 children from across Angus booked at place at the event, and enjoyed a range of activities to promote the importance of play, physical exercise and keeping fit and healthy.

The day was filled with free, fun-packed activities for all ages including sports fun, den building, skateboarding, interactive science fun, and visits from the fire, ambulance and police.

After enjoying a magic show, the children also took part in boogie fun, bouncy castles, face painting and arty designs and Jessie from Toy Story made an appearance on stilts.
