FORFAR’s very own ‘Calendar Girls’ are about to begin work on the Lowson Church 2014 calendar.

Now in its fourth year the calendar, in aid of church funds, has proved popular throughout the town and the ladies are on the look out for submissions for next year’s special edition to mark the church’s centenary year.

There is an open call for submissions of photographs showing aspects of Forfar and the surrounding area. This could be landmarks, beautiful scenes or interesting nooks and crannies around the town.

The styles can be in any mood or taken in any season - the more eclectic the better!

Entries should all be in the landscape format, with original colour if possible, and be printed on A4 photographic paper (210x297mm).

On the back of your entry please mark the photo location, your name, address and telephone number.

Entries, with the envelope marked ‘Calendar’, can be given to Maureen Lennon, Hazel McKenzie-Milne and Mary Wyllie.

Alternatively you can hand entries in to the Lowson Memorial Parish Church Office or post to Jamieson Street, Forfar, DD8 2HY by Sunday, June 2.

All funds raised by the calendar will go to LIFE, the Lowson Memorial Fundraising Effort.
