The Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland charity shop at 80 Castle Street, Forfar has a dramatically bare window this week to draw attention to its urgent need for donations to restock its shelves.
Tracey Brown, shop manager, explained: “The models in our window are bare this week because we desperately need more stock to sell in the shop.
“We’ve had tremendous support from the people of Forfar since we opened four years ago and I’m sure once the message gets out there people locally will rally round with donations of good quality clothes, bric a brac, accessories, books and small electrical goods.
“I’d like to thank everyone in Forfar for their custom and support and ask them to bring us their unwanted goods.
“We have a volunteer driver who could pick up your items if you can’t deliver them yourself. All donations are greatly appreciated and help us to raise money to fund the charity’s wide range of local services.”
For more information or to arrange uplift of heavy or bulky items you wish to donate please contact Tracey on 01307 464892.
Please donate today and make a real difference to the lives of local people with chest, heart and stroke illness.
