THE Forfar Dispatch and Kirriemuir Herald have a new trainee reporter.
Hannah Messer joined the team a week past Monday and she has already been out and about picking up news stories which have appeared in print and on-line.
Hannah (21) was born in Aberdeen and grew up in Johnshaven.
She now lives in Luthermuir and enjoys both the tranquility of the countryside and the benefits the A90 brings for travelling to and from Forfar.
She said: “I am very excited to be working for Angus County Press at the Forfar Dispatch as it was always my dream to work in the newspaper industry.
“I look forward to meeting people in the Forfar and Kirriemuir area and providing good stories for everyone to enjoy reading.
“My hobbies include walking, cars, writing and visiting new places. I try my best at cooking but I definitely need to take some lessons!
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my first week at the Dispatch and look forward to learning new things everyday and exploring the town.”
Hannah joins Group Editor Brian Stormont, senior reporter Janet Thomson and fellow trainee Sarah McLean.
