LETHAM CUBS have written another entry in the village pack’s record of achievement.

At a Scout Hall ceremony attended by Angus District Commissioner Willie Bell, four youngsters stepped up to receive their Chief Scout’s Silver Award certificates in recognition of completing the work to secure the highest honour in the Cub movement.

Twins Munro and Russell Mitchell, Findlay McLean and Robbie Stout tackled sections including outdoor, fitness and community challenges on their way to the award.

The group are the first recipients of the honour in the 1st Dunnichen pack for around 18 months, and sharing their presentation success was Beaver Duncan Meek, who has recently secured the younger section top Bronze award.
