Award night for Jeremy as NFU wins top accolade

Forfar-based NFU Mutual agent Jeremy Parker was selected from the insurer’s 300 agency offices to join CEO Lindsay Sinclair at the Which? Awards.

The company picked up the award for the Best Financial Services Provider.

The Awards celebrate those companies that go the extra mile to put their customers first. Each year, companies and individuals that consistently get it right for consumers are publicly recognised.

On accepting the award Mr Sinclair said: “I am extremely proud to accept this award on behalf of everyone at NFU Mutual. We’re known for the way we look after our customers and this is great recognition of what we work so hard to achieve.

“When all is said and done, the acid test of business performance is whether the promise a customer buys is borne out by the reality. With insurance, that moment comes when you have to make a claim.

“What sets NFU Mutual apart from other insurance companies is our local, personal service; it means we take the time to get to know our customers and when they need our help, they know they can count on us to provide it.”

Jeremy commented: “It was a suprise and an honour to be invited to represent the NFU Mutual local office network. We were bursting with pride onstage, accepting the award.”
