An Arbroath man had a tussle with death recently after being attacked by an alligator in Florida.
Doug Brown (45), who now lives in Central Florida, suffered injuries to his hand after he was attacked by an eight foot alligator near his mother’s home.

He suffered a four inch gash to his hand and severed tendons pulling himself free from the creature’s mouth.
It was reported that wildlife officers later pulled the alligator from the canal.
