Angus Doors Open Days organisers are appealing to building owners and event organisers to get involved in this year’s celebrations.
Doors Open Days is co-ordinated nationally by the Scottish Civic Trust and contributes to European Heritage Days, which sees over 25 million people take part in activities and visits.
During Doors Open days people can see inside buildings that may not normally be accessible providing the opportunity, free of charge, to experience not only cultural and historic buildings, but also some unusual and contemporary buildings, as well as gardens and open spaces.
Angus Doors Open Days will take place this year on September 5 & 6 and is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the county’s unique architecture, design, buildings, places and spaces.
The programme will be launched during the summer, and anyone who would like to help make the event a success should contact Gillian Black on firstname.lastname@example.org or 01307 473226 by June 22, to ensure inclusion in the programme.
