READERS may have noticed our new feature which started last week entitled ‘The Big Picture’ which captures scenes from the local area.
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by the most beautiful countryside which changes with the seasons - and we ask that, if you are out with your camera snapping local images, you pass them on to us to share with our readers.
It can be anything from local wildlife, a spectacular sunrise or sunset, scenes from the Angus glens, or even just something that catches your eye and which makes a good picture. All we ask is that it is a landscape picture.
We are always on the lookout, too, for Down Memory Lane photographs. Again, if you have images of local people and events from days gone by, why not send them in? They could be class photographs, street scenes or pictures from local events; as it’s the festive season you may have a picture of a Christmas party or a nativity play you or your children starred in, or perhaps a photograph of a local pantomime scene.
You can e-mail your photographs, with details, to firstname.lastname@example.org or hand in your picture to our office in Castle Street.
