IF you think you might have “cash in your attic”, then the Letham Hall management committee has just the event for you.
They invite you to dig out your curiosities, collectables and antiques and take them along to their latest fund-raiser.
They are running a “What is in Your Attic” event on Sunday, July 24 from 11 am to 3 pm in the hall.
Local antique and collectables expert Alan Ansell (senior) of Refined (Edinburgh/Royal Deeside antiques and collectables) will give a valuation.
There is a £3 entry fee which includes one valuation, tea/coffee and a biscuit.
All proceeds go to the maintenance of Letham Hall.
Extra valuations may be purchased if time is available and valuations will be handled with discretion.
The event will also feature a variety of interesting stalls of local hand-crafted items, a chocolate fountain, tombola, cake and candy, test your antique knowledge quiz and fun quizzes for all.
Wildlife expert Shirley Fergusson, a member of the British Trust for Ornithology, will have a stall to fund-raise for the BTO and will hand out literature on the Trust’s work.
