Angus Council has issued a further update on the conditions of the roads in the county.

As of 11am on Sunday, January 10, a number of road closures are still in place. They are as follows:

B9113 closed at Rescobie

Craig O Loch Road Forfar

U322 (1) Emmock Road (still closed from Dundee side by DCC)

C8 Baldovan

C49 Colliston Station Road Letham Grange

U461 East of Dunnichen

U492 just east of B951

The council is asking motorists to observe road closure signage, even if road conditions seem to be better as flood damage is being assessed.

A number of roads have reopened, but there are traffic management measure in place. They are as follows:

B957 Horniecross to Tannadice - road collapse at junction of C32 is now open with temporary lights in place.

A926 Littleton of Airlie is now open with temporary lights in place.

Gritting will be carried out as required, in line with the council’s winter weather arrangements.

The council is expecting it to be business as usual for all schools tomorrow (Monday), but will update their website for details about schools closures and any school transport disruption.
