All set for annual helping of pantomime fun

Forfar Musical Society members are all set to take to the stage in the Reid Hall this week for their production of the pantomime, ‘Mother Goose’.

This year’s show will run from Thursday (December 11) to Sunday (December 14).

The society has decided this year that, following the success of its Saturday matinees over the previous few years, it was time to also offer a Sunday matinee and test the popularity of this with the Forfar public.

The production team of Marley Hunter, Colin Grant, Lisa Callander and Lorne Aitken promise to deliver a festive and fun few hours of entertainment to their audiences in the lead-up to Christmas.

Tickets, priced at £8 and £6, are available from Toycastle and Garlands in Forfar, online at www.forfarmusical.co.uk, or from Susan Douglas on (01575) 572109.

The cast members have been busy in recent weeks rehearsing for their show and invite you to go along to meet Mother Goose (Dave Mitchell) and her best friend Priscilla The Goose (Joan Mitchell) who lays the most fantastic golden eggs.

See how they and their other friends fight to overcome Damien Discontent (Craig Keable) and his horrible sidekick Lola (Iona Allan), as good triumphs over evil.
