PEDESTRIAN INJURED IN FORFAR ACCIDENT

A 75-year-old man was injured in a collision with a car while out walking his dog in Brechin Road, Forfar, near to Hanick Terrace at about 4.30 pm on Thursday (today).
The man walks with the aid of a walking stick.

Emergency services attended and ambulance staff treated the man at the scene for head and leg injuries before taking him to Ninewells hospital.

He was later described as having a possible fractured leg and minor head injury.

The car driver was uninjured.

Tayside Police are appealing for anyone who saw the accident to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any police officer.
