The inspiration of the teachers’ Glee video at Forfar Academy led to a good turnout for the Glee Club.

Nearly 120 students signed up with variable talents to offer, with about 30 pupils turning up to join.

The Glee club promises to be a blend of talents brewed together to create excitement, joy and a lot of fun. Mrs Gibb and Mr Harrison took the first meeting well and enlightened pupils with some ideas and plans of action for the club.

Just like the Glee TV programme, Mrs. Gibb and Mr Harrison will act as Mr Schuester and set assignments in which Glee members will be able to make sparks, creating positive and productive activity while indulging in all their creative ideas.

These may include music videos, live performances and anything else they can come up with.

This promises to be a very enjoyable club with a lot of good times on the way.

One of their current ventures is to film their own videos for mash-ups of Lady Gaga songs. Will they live up to the extremely successful staff video? All gleeks stay tuned for updates.
