Montrose Air Station is to hold a vintage NAAFI dance to honour its flying heritage.
The dance, which takes place in Montrose Royal British Legion on Saturday, November 5, will celebrate the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force at RAF Montrose from 1913 to 50.
Dancing will be to a selection of music from the decades and, while it is not essential, guests are being encouraged to dress in vintage styles reflecting the 1940s to 1970s period.
Music will be by Jack McPherson and the event runs from 7.30pm until midnight.
Tickets cost £10, which includes a finger buffet, and are available from the Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre shop/reception on 01674 678222 or from Neil Werninck on 01674 674600.
