THE organisers of the popular Yellow's On The Broom International Music and Arts Festival have announced a new date for this year's festival, and a stunning line up which will feature the legendary Donnie Munro.
This year is the 11th two day festival at Sillyflatt Barn, Inverbervie, and once again it promises to be one to remember.
Normally held over the May Day weekend, this year the dates are set for Saturday, May 22 and Sunday, May 23.
This ties in with Montrose Music Festival which runs from May 28 to 30, ensuring locals and visitors alike can enjoy two unforgettable musical weekends.
Donnie and his band will play on Sunday, May 23 and already interest has been shown in his north-east date.
Donnie rose to fame in the 1980s as the lead singer with Runrig, recognised as Scotland's most popular act of the era.
After a short spell in politics he recorded a solo album and with Chris Harley later formed a band.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets, which cost £20 each, are available by telephone - 01569 750756.
A spokesperson for The Yellow's on the Broom added there is, once again, a full programme lined up for the weekend with the Argentinean tango band Mano Santa also confirmed.
Further details will be available soon on www.yellowsonthebroom.co.uk
