AN 18-year-old youth from Inverkeilor died at the weekend after taking unwell during a taxi journey.
Mark Morton was travelling in a taxi on a journey between Arbroath and Forfar in the early hours of Saturday when he took ill.

He was later taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where sadly he died.

Police are continuing enquiries in relation to this matter although there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mark's death.

A police family liaison officer has been appointed and his next of kin have been informed.

As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
