LIB-DEMS SHOULD BREAK PROMISE!

Sir, Save a fortune, maybe?

Annabel Goldie, answering a question at a public meeting in Forfar, said in hushed tones that the Labour Party had proposed a Trident upgrade costing 30 billion and that the Tories had voted their support in Parliament.

Later, answering a similarly framed question in Arbroath, David Cameron (whilst threshing one open palm with a clenched fist for emphasis) promised that if he became Prime Minister we would rest assured that a Tory government would spend 30 billion of our money on the upgrade of Trident.

The Liberals have been wishy washy on the matter of nuclear bombs. What is their opinion now?

Why not break promises, cancel the upgrade of Trident, saving 30 billion of our taxes, and making the world a safer place?

We wait!

Yours etc.,

Jim McGugan,

Letham.
